A public figure during the Festival
Reconnaissance of the hotel, the Palais and the party venues the week before; two officers in rotation plus a security driver for ten days; coordination with the hotel’s security team and the film company’s press office; red-carpet steps timed with the protocol team, exits through the service corridors, after-parties until 4 a.m.; no photograph of the officers in any publication. How much does a bodyguard cost in Cannes?
Rates depend on the length of the assignment, the number of officers, whether a security driver and vehicle are included, and the level of exposure. A single discreet officer for a day, an evening or a dinner is the most common request; teams are priced per officer and per shift. We give a written, confidential quote within 24 hours after a free interview, with no hidden fees: travel, equipment and insurance are included.
How far ahead should I book during the Film Festival?
For the Cannes Film Festival, MIPIM, Cannes Lions and the summer season we recommend booking two to four weeks ahead, because our best officers are reserved early by the palaces and the jewellery houses. Outside these periods an officer can be with you in Cannes within two hours and a full team within 24 hours.
Are your bodyguards armed?
No, and neither is any legitimate private bodyguard in France. French law (Book VI of the Internal Security Code) keeps close protection unarmed except in exceptional cases authorised by the State. Our officers rely on preparation, positioning, trained drivers, communication and, where needed, coordination with the police. In practice this is what keeps a client safe in a crowd on the Croisette.
Do you have female bodyguards?
Yes, subject to availability and booked in advance. Female close-protection officers are often requested for families, children, clients wearing jewellery and for events where a female presence is more discreet.
Which languages do your officers speak?
All our close-protection officers work in French and English. Russian- and Arabic-speaking officers can be assigned on request.
Do you provide vehicles and security drivers?

Are your officers trained in first aid?
Yes. Every officer holds a current first-aid certificate (SST), and our teams are trained in evacuation and in working with hotel medical services and the emergency services.

What is the legal difference between a security-guarding company and a close-protection company in France?
French law treats guarding (surveillance humaine et gardiennage) and close protection (protection physique des personnes) as two distinct regulated activities. A company may only provide the activities listed on its CNAPS authorisation, and each officer must hold the professional licence that matches the activity. Private Close Protection (PCP) is the close-protection company of the PSG group: it holds its own CNAPS authorisation n° AUT-006-2114-05-15-20150479261 for the protection of persons (SIRET 810 761 064 00015), distinct from the guarding authorisation of Private Security Guards (AUT-006-2114-12-23-20150510185), and every bodyguard we assign holds the CNAPS close-protection licence.
